Robert FosterFoster & Associates is a retained executive search firm founded by Robert A. Foster, President. Bob has more than 20 years of executive search experience, working most recently as a Senior Partner with Korn/Ferry International, where he recruited chief executives as well as division, subsidiary, and functional executives. His clients have included Fortune 500 and foreign-headquartered multinationals, as well as private equity and venture-backed companies, start-ups and turnarounds across a broad range of industries including Industrial, Financial Services, Business Services, and Consumer Products.

Bob spent eight years with the Management Consulting Division of Peat Marwick and two years with its spinoff, Executive Search operation before being recruited by Korn/Ferry in 1994. He was honored by Korn/Ferry as a first annual winner of its North American Quality Award. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Connecticut.

Bob is supported by key associates with substantial executive search experience in research, recruiting, consulting, and project administration. Together, they work closely with clients to ensure quality, thoroughness, and speed of performance.

Terry McGovernTerry McGovern is Managing Director at Foster & Associates where he conducts Board of Director, CEO and other senior leadership executive search assignments.

Mr. McGovern is a seasoned search consultant who spent 18 years with Korn/Ferry International, most recently as a Senior Client Partner in the Worldwide Industrial Practice. During this time McGovern had matrix responsibility for leading the Capital Equipment and Components Sector and the development of strategic initiatives, coordinating the activities of 30+ Industrial Partners located throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, So/Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Terry handled key management assignments at the Board of Directors, C-Suite and senior management levels for clients including GE, Ingersoll Rand, ITT Corporation, Siemens, Thyssen Krupp, American Standard and IBM. Earlier in his career, Terry was the Managing Director of the Korn/Ferry Stamford, Connecticut office, which was one of their best performing offices.

Mike MimnaughMike Mimnaugh is a Managing Director at Foster & Associates where he conducts senior leadership executive search assignments, executive assessments, and executive coaching assignments including onboarding.

Mr. Mimnaugh is a seasoned consultant who is recognized for leading and guiding senior executive and cross-cultural teams during periods of significant transformation. He gained strong business acumen at human resource offices in financial services, consumer packaged goods and manufacturing industries. He is further recognized for his knowledge in mergers and acquisitions, and business integrations
coaching executives to develop skills in leading teams to greater productivity.

Prior to joining Foster & Associates, Mike served as a Managing Director with Boyden Global Executive Search. In addition, he has held the following corporate human resources leadership roles:

Allen WurzbachAllen Wurzbach has worked with Foster & Associates since its inception. As Managing Associate, he focuses on conducting executive search for financial services and industrial clients. Previously, Mr. Wurzbach served as a Managing Associate with Korn/Ferry International, where he was a Member of their Financial Services and General Practices. He served in both generalist and specialist roles completing 140 assignments for senior executives with financial and professional services, industrial, and consumer products clients.

Allen has more than 25 years’ experience as a human resources executive and management consultant. For ten of those years, he first served Chemical Bank (now part of JPMorgan Chase) in senior line Human Resources assignments to the asset-based lending, retail branch banking and global money markets and foreign exchange divisions.  He later served Kidder Peabody & Co. (now part of UBS) as SVP/Director of Human Resources for Investment and Merchant Banking.

Allen was a member of the professional staff at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he recruited consultants for the New York and Cleveland offices and later served as global Director of Compensation and Benefits. His early career included corporate human resource assignments in compensation, recruiting and training with the Pepsi-Cola Company and Citibank. He is a graduate of Lehigh University.

Lorraine SautnerLorraine Sautner is Director, Research and Administration. Prior to joining Foster & Associates, Lorraine spent over seven years as a Research Associate with Korn/Ferry International. She holds an MLS, Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute (graduated with distinction; received Pratt Circle Award).
